When it was established over 2 decades ago, the founders of Kauvery Hospital were keen on creating a world class healthcare facility built on the pillars of empathy and affordability. The founding doctors set off on this dream in 1999 with a 30-bed hospital in Tennur, Trichy with single-minded focus on offering best-in-class healthcare with a personal touch. This was a very new concept in a tier 2 city like Trichy which lacked a tertiary care hospital at the time. Today, Kauvery is a multi-specialty hospital chain with 1500++ beds in five cities including Trichy, Chennai, Salem, Hosur, and Bengaluru. The hospital is elated to announce two recent additions– a state-of-the-art tertiary care facility at Radial Road, Kovilambakkam, as well as the acquisition of the 200+ bed Fortis Hospital in Vadapalani Chennai.

About Event
The goal of Kauvery Marathon 2023 is to raise awareness about heart health. It
reinforces the belief that strength is in numbers. When people come together with a
sense of purpose, great things can be achieved. Through this run, we hope to raise
awareness about heart ailments, the prevention measures and precautions that need
to be taken – particularly if there is a family history of heart problems. Lifestyle
changes are the first step to any transformation – and this is the level of mindfulness
we wish to establish through this event.
